QHYCCD Standard Software Q&A / QHY5III-485 display using Raw-16

I was playing with my new QHY5III-485c camera taking some lunar images and tried "Color Space" Raw16. I saw a couple of issues.

1. The color of the display was green which I would have expected if using the initial values set up by SharpCap. But I had adjusted the white balance for normal RGB color space so does the white balance have to be readjusted for the 16bit?

2. I could see the entire pixel pattern grid in the image. I never have seen that in a camera before. I also got some of that with the 8 bit Raw when I zoomed in on an image I saved. Is this normal? How do you adjust for that?

QHYCCD Standard Software Q&A / New QHY5III-485c not recognized

I just received a QHY5III-485c camera and tried to bring it up. Windows 10 will not recognize it. It throws it under a "Westbridge" unknown device. I have no issue with my QHY5III-462c camera being recognized on the same computer. I have used that for several months without any problem. I reinstalled the drivers and that did not help. How can I resolve this?

New Camera Information / QHY268C

I am interested in getting the QHY268C camera but I have some questions.

1. What comes with the camera?
 a. One reviewer indicates that it comes with a very short (5 ft) USB 3.0 cable. Can a longer cable be used?
 b. Telescope Interface (M54): Is there an adapter to convert to a T2 connection?
 c. There apparently is no IR Cut filter. Is this correct?

2. It has a very short back focus (17.5mm). What is required to get it to a more standard 55mm?

3. What is the actual length of the photographic version?

I took some deep sky object images using my QHY5III174 on a 80mm refractor. I was trying 20 sec exposures with a gain of 30 in SharpCap. When I brighten the image, I notice a lot of extreme banding noise. Is this too much gain or exposure. I noticed some of the deep sky examples on the QHY5III174 web page are very short exposures and thousands of exposures. Is this what has to be done to image deep sky objects with the QHY5III174? I stacked 10 images and that really did not help. I have attached a sample.

There is what appears to be a clear glass removable black module at the chip end of the camera. What is this and why would you want it or not want it on? In the manual there is a mention of an optic window. Is this what it is?

I just purchase a QHY5III174M camera. The USB3 cable it comes with is very short. Has anyone used longer USB3 cables on their QHY cameras and at what length?
